Youth Athletic Club for Structural Management

Many critical decisions that will influence an athlete’s lifetime should be made while the athlete is in high school.  Sports biomechanics is a newer specialty in the sports world, and our goal is to raise the awareness of sports biomechanics in the community.

As most know, current pre-season exams, which are mandatory for all student athletes, are a medical exam: eyes, ears, nose and throat.  However, no one ever looks at the student athlete’s biomechanics or structural composition and capacity.

Prior to beginning any athletic regimen or conditioning program, student athletes should be assessed for the Top 6 Factors that determine Work Capacity

These include:

  • Anaerobic Capacity
  • Body Composition
  • Joint Mobility
  • Strength Endurance
  • Core Strength
  • Aerobic Capacity

The KOP Wellness Youth Athletic Program will educate parents, athletes and coaches of the advancements in biomechanical functions in the growing, young athlete.

King of Prussia Family Wellness Center has a proven and effective Structural Management Program that will enhance and improve your teen's sports performance.
